Tuesday's Picks and Predictions

Picked up the sweep last night with both Top-Rated plays as Indianapolis and the Over both got it done for us!! Big CFB action on-deck this week so get ready!!

Week 3 CFB Observations:

  • Many are considering the Washington win a HUGE upset but not me!! Washington may have sucked last year but their biggest challenge was health and NOT talent!! People better not take them lightly this year, which I think USC did, because they will surprise many!!

  • Oklahoma State will not finish in the Top 10 and perhaps even the Top 20 when the season is over!! All of a sudden their “Great Win” against Georgia isn’t looking so “Great” after watching Georgia’s defense give up an average of 39 points to two offenses that are average at-best, and yet Okie State struggled to put up 24 at home!! Adding insult to injury is the fact that Okie State has struggled the past two weeks against Houston and Rice --- WHO??

  • SEC teams should study Tennessee’s game planning and execution hard because the Vols proved that Florida can be slowed down and even beaten!! What the Vols don’t possess that other conference teams do is RAW TALENT!! I still maintain Florida will lose two games this season despite having an EASY schedule!! And shame on all of you that bought the media hype about Florida and Coach Meyer and how they were going to humiliate Tennessee after Coach Kiffin’s remarks. If you bet Florida in that game you need to go to www.fadingthepublic.com immediately!!

  • I was dead on when I said BYU is not a Top 10 team just because they upset Oklahoma!! BYU got dominated in all aspects of the game by an average Florida State squad – they will lose at least 2 more games before the season ends!!

  • At this point Cal is one of my early faves to run to the BCS!! The talent this team possesses is insane!! Their biggest enemy right now is NOT their opponent but rather themselves!! When there is a huge disparity in talent at this level it is tough to keep the kids focused because they sometimes grow bored!! Complacency set in this past weekend and they almost got a surprise delivered by Minnesota, an average team from an average conference!!

  • Watching Cincinnati handle Oregon State the way they did on the road, watching UConn dismantle Baylor the way they did on the road, and watching Syracuse beat a very talented Northwestern team tells me the Big East might be better than any of us are willing to give them credit for!!
