CFB
12:00PM EST
309 Syracuse
310 Penn State
OPINION: PENN STATE -28
Last week Penn State went into halftime with a huge lead over Akron before becoming complacent in the second half and failed to get the cover as a result. Meanwhile, the Cuse took another Big 10 opponent, Minnesota, to OT before losing 23-20. This has many believing the Cuse can cover this big line but I feel different. The Cuse is completely over-matched in this one and look for Penn State to play two complete halves of football to get the easy win and cover!! PREDICTION: PENN STATE 41 THE CUSE 10

12:00PM EST
323 Fresno State
324 Wisconsin
OPINION: FRESNO STATE +9 -120
Fresno returns 15 starters from a team that lost at home 13-10 to these Badgers a year ago. Revenge is a huge motivator especially with an experienced team. The WAC is down in talent this year but Fresno is not. This game very well could play out like last year's game, a close one that comes down to the wire. However, don't expect it to be low scoring as the total suggests points will be scored. Wisconsin may win but I don't see them covering.
PREDICTION: WISCONSIN 27 FRESNO STATE 24

12:00PM EST

357 Western Michigan
358
Indiana

OPINION: INDIANA -1

Western Michigan went to Michigan last week and got pounded and now heads on the road for the 2nd WMU was supposed to be the crème de la crème of the MAC (not that really says anything) but last week their offense really struggled and their defense simply got dominated!! Meanwhile, the Hoosiers squeaked out a close win at home over Eastern Kentucky (WHO?). In that win I was very impressed with the play of QB Chappell who completed 27 of 36 passes for more than 325 yards. Michigan threw all over WMU’s defense so there is no reason to think that Chappell can’t have another strong day!!

PREDICTION: INDIANA 31 WESTERN MICHIGAN 24

3:30PM EST

339 Notre Dame
340 Michigan

OPINION: NOTRE DAME -3

Seeing a lot of love for the home dog in this one but as good as UM looked last week they still have a long way to go before they can beat a team like ND!! I am not ready to call the Irish a true contender but they do have an experienced QB running the show and two premier WRs in Floyd and Tate. I really believe they will be the difference.

PREDICTION: NOTRE DAME 26 MICHIGAN 20

3:30PM EST

307 East Carolina
308 West Virginia

OPINION: EAST CAROLINA +7 -120

Last week both teams did what they had to do to take of their inferior opponents but ZI am sure this game was on both of their minds. WVa is seeking revenge for last years upset loss at ECU and as much as I love backing certain teams in a revenge spot I just can't do it today. WVa was a much better team last year and lost to ECU so hard for me to imaging them beating ECU this year when ECU is even more talented and experienced than last season. I expect the game to stay close throught but in the end see ECU winning outright. The reason why ECU did not make my top play list is because I am respecting the fact that they are playing in Morgantown where WVa is 12-0 all-time against the Pirates and because revenge is a motivator.

PREDICTION: EAST CAROLINA 24 WEST VIRGINIA 16

7:00PM EST

387 Ohio
388 North Texas

OPINION: OHIO -2 -120

Wow!! I am amazed at how fast people are jumping on the North Texas bandwagon!! One win in like 40 years and all of a sudden they are GREAT!! Of course I am kidding but you get my point!! Here is the bottom line, Ohio just lost to a UConn team that I even under-rated slightly last week. Well today UConn proved just how tough they remain taking UNC to the wire so the loss last week by Ohio proves stronger than I first thought!! meanwhile North Texas returns home off their not-so-shocking win over Ball State (a game I called) and this has many believing they will now cruise pass the perceived leesor MAC opponent - but NO SO FAST!! There is a reason why Ohio is favored on the road tonight - oddsmakers are telling us they expect Ohio to win and I won't ignore it!! I like Ohio to rebound tonight against a team still gloating in their "big" win at Ball State.

PREDICTION: OHIO 23 NORTH TEXAS 16

7:00PM EST

369 Vanderbilt
370 LSU

OPINION: VANDERBILT +14

If you have followed my top 25 poll then you know I have good expectations for Vanderbilt. This team is very experienced and very sound fundamentally while LSU showed once again last week that their defense has not returned to the dominance of year's past. Many so-called experts are riding the Tigers citing a major home field advantage but it's one that I believe is negated by Vandy's experience!! Look for Vandy to move the ball on offense and to come up with the big stops at the right times, taking this one to the wire and possibly stealing the outright win!!

PREDICTION: VANDERBILT 24 LSU 23

***PLAYS WILL BE POSTED THROUGHOUT THE DAY SO BE SURE TO CHECK BACK OFTEN!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US TODAY!!
